Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall said he was disappointed the Reds couldn’t hold onto all three points in Friday’s 1-1 draw with Derby County – whilst he also praised Anthony Knockaert.
James Garner opened the scoring for the Reds in the first half and Forest had looked comfortable throughout the second period.
Colin Kazim-Richards took advantage of a poor clearance by Tobias Figueiredo though, firing Derby level with just seven minutes remaining.
Worrall was once again colossal at the back for Forest but felt the team deserved more.

He told Sky Sports: “We are disappointed. I think on the balance of the game, we had so many chances, we’ve probably got to gamble a little bit more and take our chances.
“At the end of the day, everyone wants to win the derby but it’s nice not to lose it as well. I think on the balance of play, we’re probably more disappointed not to win than Derby will be.
The 24-year-old was clearly frustrated with just a point for his team’s efforts but he did have praise for Knockaert.
The on-loan Fulham man was a real star of the piece at Pride Park and Worrall reserved special praise for him.
He continued: “I thought Knockaert was excellent today.
“He’s a good player, it’s taken him a few games to find his feet and understand the demand that wearing the Forest shirt is all about.
“On his day he’s one of the best player in the league. He’s a good player and hopefully we can see more of the sort of performances he gave today.
Forest’s impressive run goes on
It’s now eight matches between the two sides since the Rams got one over their fierce rivals.
The Brian Clough Trophy went back on the bus with Forest and for Derby, their horrible run against their rivals goes on.
Forest know they can play a lot better than they did last night but the confidence is growing with each passing game.

All of Chris Hughton’s signings have improved Forest and with Worrall in fine form at the back, more points should be on the horizon.
Worrall was right to heap praise on Knockaert.
He was mesmerising at times on Friday and is ramming the words of his harshest critics firmly down their throat.
Forest will hope there is even more to come from the trickster between now and the end of the campaign.
