Manchester United loanee James Garner scored his first senior goal in Nottingham Forest’s 1-1 draw with Derby County on Friday.

The maestro ace took to Twitter over the weekend, to sum up, his thoughts on the experience.

Garner’s left-footed strike managed to squirm under David Marshall to give Forest a first-half lead at Pride Park.

Derby did comeback into the contest and grabbed an equaliser through Colin Kazim-Richards in the final 10 minutes.

Forest added another point to their total, however, as they edged further away from relegation and closer to the top-half.

After the East Midlands showdown, the Reds new kid on the block took to Twitter to give a three-word assessment of his goal.

The 19-year-old has been a revelation since checking in at the City Ground during the January transfer window.

He has made a real impact in the Forest team and looks set to become a future star.

Chris Hughton will be delighted with the form he has shown since arriving and there’s more to come from the teenager.

When Garner checked in some supporters were uncertain of the impact he was capable of.

He had played 19 times for Watford during the first half of the season but had fallen down the pecking order under Xisco Munoz.

Garner’s impact has led to some Forest supporters call for the Reds to bring him back to the club next season.

Of course, that will depend on how Manchester United view his development but another loan spell could be likely.

If Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does decide to ship him out again, Forest must place themselves right at the front of the queue.
