Northern Irish youngster Jamie McDonnell has become the latest Nottingham Forest youngster to put pen-to-paper on a professional deal.
The 17-year-old has made a big impact since checking in at the City Ground from Glentoran at the start of the season.
McDonnell has been playing regularly with the under-18 ranks this season, excelling in Gareth Holmes’ team.
The youngster is in fine form and clearly Forest have been keen to tie him down to a contract quickly.
Holmes has been impressed with him this season and sung his praises on the club’s official website.

He said: “Jamie has integrated into the club really well coming from Northern Ireland. He excels in the defensive side of the game, he is a born winner and very competitive which brings great energy.”
