Nottingham Forest face Luton Town tonight looking to continue their recent good form in the Championship.
The Reds have lost just twice since the turn of the year in the league and have moved clear of the relegation zone.
Forest sill have a bit of work to do but in recent weeks the performances have been far better in terms of quality.
Chris Hughton’s team created enough chances to win two games on Friday in the draw against Derby and a ruthless streak is required.
Ahead of tonight’s contest at the City Ground we looked at the team which Hughton could pick.
In goal and back four
A strong showing from the back five on Friday should see Hughton stick when it comes to his defence.
Tobias Figueiredo was at fault for the goal at Derby but he was largely impressive throughout the contest.
His partnership with Joe Worrall has been solid in recent weeks and the duo should play.
Cyrus Christie will likely start at right-back, with Yuri Ribeiro operating on the left.
Brice Samba will start the game in goal.
Cafu and James Garner were both outstanding against Derby and that will naturally play into Hughton’s thinking.
Ryan Yates is fit though and there is a decision to be made.
Garner will be riding the crest of a wave after scoring his first senior goal and Cafu could perhaps earn a rest.
Anthony Knockaert is playing some beautiful football at the moment and he should start on the right.
On the left there could be a chance for Forest.
Luke Freeman was called upon for Friday’s game but could be replaced here.
Sammy Ameobi is now fit and he could return to the side at the expense of the on-loan Sheffield United man.
In attack the game could represent a chance for Hughton to rotate his attack.
As a result, Lyle Taylor could earn a rare start with the games starting to come thick and fast once again.
Filip Krovinovic will keep his place in the No.10 role.
Here is how the team could line up this evening:
