Forest missed him in the middle of the park and looked far better following his introduction.
Cafu checked in during the summer transfer window on loan from Olympiacos.
He made his move permanent during the January transfer window and has proved a decent addition.
Chris Hughton’s decision to play Ryan Yates ahead of him backfired and Cafu won plenty of admirers yesterday.
The 28-year-old worked hard, is intelligent with the ball and showcased his ability to get Forest playing on the front foot.
