Nottingham Forest take on Norwich City this evening looking to return to winning ways.

The Reds drew 1-1 with Reading on Saturday and are now on a run of four games without a victory.

Norwich are sitting pretty at the top of the Championship and already have one foot back in the Premier League.

Tonight’s task looks thankless from a Forest perspective and Chris Hughton knows his team will have to be at their very best.

Ahead of the City Ground clash we looked at how Forest might line-up this evening.

In goal and back four

Brice Samba made a pretty sizable error at the weekend but he should keep his place in goal.

Cyrus Christie has been pretty impressive of late and he should start at right-back.

At left-back, Hughton might choose to recall Yuri Ribeiro.

Gaetan Bong has played the last two and the fresh legs could be most welcomed against the Norwich attack.

At centre-back, Joe Worrall remains injured so Scott McKenna and Tobias Figueiredo should continue.

Midfield

There doesn’t really feel like any need to change anything in midfield.

James Garner, on loan from Manchester United, and Cafu have both looked decent of late.

Ryan Yates is fighting hard for his place back but Harry Arter won’t be in the squad.

He lasted just 23 minutes of an under-23 run out on Monday and is unlikely to be involved.

In attack

Glenn Murray has played a lot of football recently and he could drop to the bench tonight.

Hughton clearly values the man who performed so well at Brighton but at 37 he’s unable to play each and every game.

Lewis Grabban looks to have recovered from his hamstring problem and he could earn a start at the City Ground this evening.

Joe Lolley is out for the season so Anthony Knockaert is in line to earn a recall to the starting XI.

Sammy Ameobi did okay at the weekend and he should continue on the opposite flank to the Frenchman.

Filip Krovinovic is still on the lookout for his first goal contribution in a Forest shirt and he looks set to start in the No.10 role again.

Here is how the Forest team might look this evening:
