Former Nottingham Forest hero Steve Hodge picked out two players for praise after Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Brentford.
The Nottingham-born ex-player was co-commentating on the weekend’s clash for BBC Radio Nottingham.
After Filip Krovinovic had scored an equaliser to earn the Reds a point, Hodge picked out James Garner and Cafu as star men.

The duo did a great job of dictating the tempo from midfield and a former engine room occupant himself, Hodge was impressed.
He told BBC Radio Nottingham: “You’d have taken a point before the game.
“I thought Garner and Cafu gave us a bit of control in the game.
“I think overall the performance deserved a point. We got hammered on Wednesday, but we were always in the game today.”
Forest now have just under two weeks until their next game and that could bode well.
The Reds have lost a few players through injury of late and it’ll allow Chris Hughton to get his team on the training ground.
Forest still need a few more points to guarantee their Championship status and the sooner they grab a win or two the better.
The Reds travel to Cardiff on Good Friday before facing Stoke City at home on Easter Monday.
A couple of wins in those games would set the Reds up nicely for the final few games of the 2020/21 campaign.
Midfield pairing starting to blossom
Both Cafu and James Garner look a partnership that can see Forest make a return to winning ways.
The duo seem to enjoy playing alongside each other and they bring a nice balance to the midfield.

Cafu made his loan permanent in January, whilst Garner is on loan from Manchester United.
The Reds would love to bring him back to the City Ground next season and that will definitely be a conversation to be had between the two clubs.
