Filip Krovinovic scored his first Nottingham Forest goal at the weekend and received praise from Kamil Grosicki on Instagram.

The Croatian scored a tidy effort during the second half to help Forest claim a deserved point for their efforts.

Krovinovic has proved a solid loan addition since checking in during January – but had struggled when it came to goal contributions.

Now he is up and running he will hope to continue on the goal trail and fire the Reds to safety.

After the game, he received a clutch of praise from Forest stars, including Brice Samba and Yuri Ribeiro on the social media platform.

Grosicki and West Brom youngster Dara O’Shea also took time out to rave about the 25-year-old, with both players offering one-word Instagram responses.

Krovinovic joined the Reds from Benfica and has helped Forest look far better in the final third.

At this stage it’s unsure what the future holds and in the short-term he will hope to help Forest avoid dropping into League one.

Should Forest sign Krovinovic?

A number of factors will come into play when deciding whether to sign him.

First, the numbers will need to be right on the deal and it’ll be interesting to see whether Benfica want to sell.

If they don’t another loan move could certainly appeal to Forest for next season.

Another factor will be whether Hughton will decide to stick with 4-2-3-1 next season once he has implemented a full pre-season of his own.

If he does, a No.10 will be required and that could make Krovinovic an ideal recruit.

The player seems to enjoy playing for the club and he’s getting better with each passing game.

If a deal could be struck, he could prove a very decent signing indeed.
