Nottingham Forest secured a stunning 1-0 win over Cardiff City in Wales on Good Friday, with Chris Hughton’s men winning for the first time in six games.
The Reds won thanks to James Garner’s goal, with the 20-year-old sweeping home after some good play by Cyrus Christie.
One man that was superb throughout was Scotland international Scott McKenna. He partnered Joe Worrall at centre-back, with both players colossal in defence.
McKenna, 24, has endured some bad luck with injuries during 2020/21. It’s fair to say that when he has played, however, he’s never disappointed the Reds faithful.
He joined the club from Aberdeen during the summer transfer window. He has made 18 appearances in the Championship since arriving on Trentside.
The fact he is left-footed brings some real balance to the Forest ranks and he’s proved a sound addition to the team.
After his performance yesterday, supporters were quick to rave about him on Twitter.
Here is what the Forest faithful had to say after a standout showing from the man-mountain defender.
