Chris Hughton has provided an injury update on Tobias Figueiredo ahead of tomorrow’s game with Bristol City.
There is a feeling, however, that the player might have played his final game for the football club.
Speak to Hughton and he’s confirmed, via Nottinghamshire Live, that the 26-year-old is struggling with a hamstring problem.
Hughton said: “He’s got a slight hamstring problem. I don’t think it’s one where he’ll be out for a few weeks.
“We hope next week he’s back training.”

It has, however, come at the worst possible time and could the Portuguese enforcer actually edge close to the exit in the summer?
Joe Worrall and Scott McKenna will be the partnership tasked with keeping things tight for the Reds.
The homegrown defender is arguably one of the best in the division, whilst Scotland star McKenna has enjoyed a brilliant maiden campaign in England.
With Forest also having talented youngster Loic Mbe Soh waiting in the wings, Figueiredo’s chances could be limited next season.
Given his age, the man signed from Sporting Lisbon will want to be playing regular football.
Since checking in at the City Ground he’s made 94 appearances and at times has proved himself a capable defender.
All too often this season, however, mistakes have crept into his game.
Of all the players to have been at the club for last season’s capitulation, Figueiredo’s confidence seems to have taken the biggest hit.
He was actually linked with a departure last summer, although nothing came to fruition for the defender.
With Hughton likely to reshape his squad in the summer, it wouldn’t come as a real shock to see Forest part with Figueiredo if an offer is forthcoming.

If McKenna and Worrall stay fit, it seems likely they will play the final six matches of the campaign.
As a result, Forest fans might have seen the centre-back for the last time.
