Nottingham Forest are set to make an exciting appointment to their backroom team, according to The Telegraph.
It is suggested that Chris Brass is set to join a newly-assembled recruitment team at the City Ground.
The former defender previously worked at Wigan Athletic as the Head of Football Operations and will join Stuttgart analysis guru George Syrianos.

Forest’s recruitment in the past couple of years hasn’t been up to the required standard. It will be hoped that a new-look team behind the scenes can revive the situation.
Brass did some great work at Wigan and their business in 2019 with Brass overseeing things was pretty impressive.
Kieffer Moore, Jamal Lowe, Joe Williams and Antonee Robinson were all added to the ranks.
Paul Cook had the team playing some fantastic football and the team were only relegated during 2019/20 because of a points deduction.
All four of those players were sold. Robinson went to the Premier League with Fulham, whilst Moore, Lowe and Williams all found Championship clubs.
Time for change
Forest haven’t utilised the domestic market particularly well in recent years and Brass should definitely aid with that.
These new appointments suggest that Evangelos Marinakis is clearly looking for a change in fortunes.

If anything, it also indicates that the Greek businessman and Reds owner is willing to accept that mistakes have been made in the past.
Forest look set for a big summer on and off the pitch. The club has plans for the academy to gain category one status and work will start on redevelopments imminently.
Player recruitment has been found wanting though and is clearly the biggest cause for concern going into the summer.
The hope will be that Brass can come in and revive the club’s fortunes on that front and help Hughton build a team capable of reaching the Premier League.
