According to The Athletic, Nottingham Forest are set to make some changes behind the scenes this summer – and supporters have been reacting on Twitter.
The best bit of news is perhaps that Ioannis Vrentzos looks set to finally leave the club, with Barnsley CEO Dane Murphy identified as his replacement.
The current chief executive is to return to Athens; although it’s unclear at this stage whether or not he will retain any involvement at the City Ground.

Murphy looks like a very exciting appointment for Forest. He has helped Barnsley go progress as a club during the last two years.
The American is 35 and is held in high regard as someone with fresh ideas as to how the modern game should be played.
At Oakwell he has identified several bargains, placing emphasis on signing players under 24 with vast sell-on value. Barnsley very rarely fork out transfer fees for players over that age.
Barnsley reached the play-offs last season, despite being a minute away from relegation back to League One a year earlier.
A 94th-minute goal against Forest meant they lived to survive until the final day. A win over Brentford then provided the catalyst for them to kick on during 2020/21.
The Tykes played some beautiful football last season. Murphy hit the jackpot with the appointment of Valerien Ismael and with Gerhard Struber before him.
A modern way of thinking can only benefit Forest behind the scenes and the club will hope to get a deal done for Murphy.
Forest fans welcome key off-field changes
Following this afternoon’s news, supporters have been stating their delight on Twitter.
It’s fair to say that Forest fans will be delighted to see the back of Vrentzos who hasn’t enjoyed a successful time of things at the club.

The recruitment on Trentside hasn’t been good in recent times and any appointment that can change that will be welcomed.
Here is what Forest fans had to say as Evangelos Marinakis prepares to make some changes to the backroom structure at the City Ground.
