Nottingham Forest are in the market for some new players this summer. One man who has been linked is Watford forward Philip Zinckernagel.
Football Insider claims that the Reds have a concrete interest in the Hornets star. He helped the club to promotion last season after arriving in January.
Zinckernagel scored four goals and claimed five assists during 2020/21, but he could now be on his way out of Vicarage Road.

Watford need to make room in their 25-man squad for new recruits. That could see Zinckernagel cast aside and a move to Forest in on the cards.
The Danish performer typically operates on the right-wing, although he can also play in the hole behind a striker.
Forest are yet to add to their squad. With the players now back in pre-season training, the club will hope to ramp up their recruitment drive.
Zinckernagel would provide some experience and right now, Forest could benefit from his versatility.
Forest supporters would welcome Zinckernagel
It would seem as though supporters are desperately keen to see the Watford man at the City Ground when the season starts in August.
Following the latest news, plenty have been discussing the potential deal on Twitter. The verdict is pretty conclusive.

Zinckernagel is very decent on the ball and boasts a delicious delivery into the box. He would certainly bolster the team’s ranks in terms of quality out wide.
After he was linked with Forest, we looked at what supporters were saying about the potential for the Watford player to sign this summer.

I've seen quite a bit of Zinck but he never got a proper run in the team at Watford. If he does go to Forest and gets a chance to start every game and he really gets on a roll he'll be an absolute beast.

Interesting, 26 year old can play LW/Second Striker as well. Would be interested to see how he does IF we get him. https://t.co/vvha3AwxWT

What a great name. The club shop should make a few quid on him with shirt printing 😆
