Arsenal are set to send Jordi Osei-Tutu on loan to Nottingham Forest for the 2021/22 campaign and their fans have been reacting on Twitter.
The Gunners have Hector Bellerin, Cedric and Calum Chambers who can all play at right-back. As a result, Osei-Tutu has found himself well down the pecking order.
Arsenal will be keen to strengthen their squad further and several will therefore head out on loan.
One of those looks set to be Osei-Tutu and he looks to be heading to the City Ground in the near future.
Forest are in need of a right-back. Jordan Gabriel and Jayden Richardson are currently on the books, although a new signing could help the latter go out on loan.
Osei-Tutu spent last season with Cardiff. He managed just nine appearances for the club, falling out of favour when Mick McCarthy replaced Neil Harris.
During 2019/20 he spent time in Germany with Bochum. He scored five goals and claimed three assists, catching the eye with some solid performances.
Osei-Tutu has yet to make an appearance for the Arsenal first-team. He has made 30 appearances for the under-23s though and is highly rated at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal fans wish Osei-Tutu well ahead of Forest move
A quick glance at Twitter suggests that most supporters think the youngster can do well at the City Ground.
Forest have been in need of full-backs all summer and now they finally look set to strengthen the right side of the pitch.
Osei-Tutu is well versed when it comes to getting forward and that should suit what Chris Hughton likes to see from his full-backs.
