Nottingham Forest completed the signing of Arsenal defender Jordi Osei-Tutu late last night. He becomes the club’s third summer recruit behind Ethan Horvath and Philip Zinckernagel who have already checked in.
The Reds take on Bradford City tonight and it’s unsure at this stage whether or not Osei-Tutu will be involved. Given that he only signed last night, he does seem more likely to be saved for Saturday’s game with Bournemouth.

Osei-Tutu didn’t have much of an impact at Cardiff last season. He injured his hamstring and when he returned to fitness, Neil Harris had been sacked and Mick McCarthy didn’t fancy him.
During 2019/20 he shone in Germany, however. He went to second-tier outfit Bochum and was a regular in their team. He found the net five times and registered three assists during his time with the club.
The youngster hasn’t featured in the first team’s pre-season campaign at Arsenal. As a result, Mikel Arteta has decided that his progress is better served out on loan, with Forest the ideal club.
Osei-Tutu adds to defensive ranks that are particularly stretched at the moment. Jordan Gabriel and Jayden Richardson are the only right-backs at the club, with Gaetan Bong, now suspended for three games, the only left-back.
Arsenal fans unsure about Osei-Tutu move
The 22-year-old has been allowed to join Forest, although it seems as though some Gunners supporters aren’t impressed.

Plenty feel as though he could have done a job with the Emirates Stadium-based outfit. Now, it seems as though Arsenal’s loss is Forest’s gain.
Following last night’s update, we looked at what Gunners supporters had to say about their club’s decision to let Osei-Tutu leave on Twitter.
