Nottingham Forest were beaten 2-1 by Bournemouth yesterday. After the game, however, some potentially positive news emerged regarding Manchester City talent Morgan Rogers.
The Reds correspondent for The Athletic, Paul Taylor, has confirmed that Rogers was at the City Ground to watch the Forest contest.
Furthermore, a photo has been seen on Twitter that shows Rogers with a Forest shirt draped around his neck.
The youngster is a player who the Reds have among their list of targets for the summer transfer window.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.
He is not fancied at City to the point where he will be involved this season and they could look to loan or sell him this month.
Last season the youngster was on loan with Lincoln City and starred alongside Brennan Johnson. In 28 appearances for the Imps, he scored six times and claimed four assists.
The 19-year-old can operate in any of the four forward roles and would give the Reds’ attack an injection of pace.
City value him in the region of £9 million, although that hasn’t put Forest off. It is thought that if a deal was heavily structured, they’d still consider doing something for Rogers.
Forest fans urge club to sign Rogers
Following this news, supporters have taken to Twitter to throw their weight behind any potential deal for the Manchester City man.
As a talented teenager, he would definitely be a player who would retain sell-on value and he could prove a decent addition.
After losing their opening two games of the Championship season, Forest need reinforcements. That much is obvious and improvements are required in most areas.

It seems as though, Rogers would be popular. The reaction from supporters seems positive, with plenty taking to Twitter to discuss his potential arrival.
Here is what Forest fans had to say as the City man seemingly edged closer to a City Ground move.
Johnson and Rogers together are an utter dream

Nice signing young attacking players whilst playing a rigid 4-2-3-1 with no flexibility🤷♂️
