Nottingham Forest have confirmed the capture of two new players. Braian Ojeda has joined from Paraguayan outfit Olimpia, whilst Mohamed Drager has joined from Olympiacos on a permanent deal.
Both players are permanent deals. Ojeda, 21, has penned a four-year contract on Trentside, whilst Tunisian international Drager’s contract length hasn’t been disclosed.
Ojeda has been a target for Forest for some considerable time. He joins as a highly-rated South American prospect and he operates in central midfield.
He was on loan with Argentinean outfit Defensa last season, featuring 12 times in the middle of the park. Ojeda was particularly impressive during a draw against River Plate during 2020/21.

Drager has 18 Tunisia caps to his name. He has bags of experience in Germany, featuring for Freiburg and Paderborn previously. At 25, he is at a nice age and bolsters the full-back ranks.
Jordan Gabriel was sold earlier today. That has left Forest somewhat short at right-back. Drager will compete with Jordi Osei-Tutu and Fin Back for a place in Chris Hughton’s team.
Ojeda is the most intriguing of the two. He looks to have bags of potential and is currently away with the Paraguay senior squad.
He will provide competition in the middle of the park. Ryan Yates, Jack Colback and Cafu are currently competing for a place alongside James Garner in the engine room.
Can Forest hope for any more deals this evening?
Let’s hope so. A striker would be ideal, although Josh Maja won’t be arriving at the City Ground. Xande Silva has been linked with a move from West Ham, however.

A new striker would be nice but ultimately some fans have become disgruntled. Maja was the exciting addition to the attack the club craved and the collapse has caused upset.
Hopefully, supporters can have something else to be happy about before tonight’s 11pm deadline.
Ojeda sends message to Forest fans
Although currently away on international duty the club’s media team have posted a message following Ojeda’s arrival.
He has said that he wants to thank Nottingham Forest fans and has sent the club’s fan base a virtual hug.
He seems like a charismatic youngster and that might make him a hit with his teammates. Forest fans will hope he can be a hit on the pitch too.
