Nottingham Forest take on Sheffield United underneath the City Ground floodlights this evening looking for a return to winning ways.

The Reds took a decent point from an away trip to QPR on Friday night. Jack Colback’s late strike earned Forest a share of the spoils.

Under Steve Cooper, things have started to look up for the Reds. When he arrived Forest had just four points on the board from eight matches.

Now they have 18 and a win tonight would see them climb the Championship table even further.

The Blades arrive in the East Midlands on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Blackpool at the weekend and Forest will hope to take advantage.

Here is a look at how Forest might line up this evening:

Joe Worrall, Tobias Figueiredo and Scott McKenna will make up the back three.

Wing-backs and midfield

Forest will be forced into a change in the left wing-back role.

Max Lowe is on loan from Sheffield United and will be ineligible against his former club.

His place in hindsight will go to Gaetan Bong.

Jayden Richardson was withdrawn from last night’s under-23 game, however, and he might be involved.

Djed Spence will start the game on the right.

Ryan Yates and Jack Colback both seem likely to play in the heart of midfield.

In attack

It seems unthinkable that Lewis Grabban will play each and every game this season.

Lyle Taylor played another decent cameo role on Friday and he might just be handed a start here.

Behind him, Brennan Johnson looks likely to keep his place. He was brilliant on Friday and looks like a man bang in form.

Philip Zinckernagel could also come into the fold after a decent showing from the bench on Friday.
