Football Manager 2022 has dropped and for Nottingham Forest fans the dreams of leading their club to glory start now!
The popular video game is back for another series and the latest instalment could be the best yet.
Sports Interactive produce the goods year upon year and fans will be excited to get stuck into the new game.
Following the release, we’ve looked at the Forest first-team players who Football Manager think have the best potential at the City Ground.
For the sake of this piece, we have not included the club’s loan players.
Brennan Johnson

The 20-year-old has been a revelation since returning from a loan spell with Lincoln City last season.
He has really kicked on under Steve Cooper and is rated highly by the football club.
Johnson is currently on international duty with Wales. During 2021/22 he has scored three goals and claimed three assists from his 17 outings for the Reds.
Braian Ojeda

The Paraguayan international is an intriguing addition to the Forest ranks.
At 21, he is set for a bright future and CEO Dane Murphy fought tooth and nail to get him to the City Ground.
Ojeda hasn’t managed an appearance for the Reds just yet, although he has been an unused substitute during the last month.
When football resumes in the Championship, we might just see Ojeda for the first time.
Loic Mbe Soh

The former FIFA Golden Boy nominee has struggled with a number of injuries this season.
He actually started the season alongside Scott McKenna at centre-back but was injured in the very first match.
Mbe Soh has bags of time on his side, however, and he’ll hope to be back in contention for a place following the international break.
Alex Mighten

The talented teenager is another fancied for big things at the City Ground.
Mighten, 19, has struggled for a regular place in Steve Cooper’s team, although he did earn a start on Saturday.
In 54 appearances for the Reds, he has scored three goals and registered two assists.
At this stage, a loan spell perhaps shouldn’t be out of the question as he looks to unleash his full potential.
Scott McKenna

The uncompromising Scotland defender has started every game this season at the heart of the Reds’ defence.
He has thrived in a three-man defence under Cooper and his left-sided capabilities are a breath of fresh air.
McKenna is backed by Football Manager 2022 to have a bright career and Forest fans will hope he can enjoy a successful City Ground spell.
Best of the rest
Ryan Yates, Joe Worrall and Joao Carvalho are also tipped by Football Manager 2022 for bright futures.
They all have similar potential to McKenna according to the game.
As far as Worrall and Yates go that won’t come as much of a surprise but some supporters will be intrigued over Carvalho.
The playmaker hasn’t featured much this season and he’s yet to kick a ball in anger under Cooper.
His fans will hope Football Manager has a point regarding his potential.
