With the help of Who Scored, Nottingham Forest News looked at the top five Reds stars to have won the most aerial challenges so far during the 2021/22 campaign.
5) Lyle Taylor (16)
This one will shock the Nottingham Forest fan base. Taylor gets some unjust pelters at times and ultimately some of it isn’t called for.
The 31-year-old is a decent foil for the main striker Lewis Grabban and it would seem as though he does boast strengths.
Taylor has lost out on 23 aerial challenges this season, although it’s not really his game to be holding up the ball.
The striker will hope for more opportunities as the season progresses and he’ll hope to grasp his next one.
4) Joe Worrall (32)
The academy graduate is strong in the air typically, although he has often come unstuck up against a sizeable target man.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months and Forest perhaps face a fight to keep hold of him.
The 32 aerial challenges he has won have come from playing 13 games during 2021/22.
Worrall has captained the side during the current campaign and he remains an important player in Steve Cooper’s ranks.
3) Tobias Figueiredo (44)
The Portuguese performer was simply born to head a football! He is strong in the air and his 44 aerials won also come from 13 appearances in the team.
Figueiredo is out of contract in the summer but has been a mainstay in the team since Cooper took charge at the City Ground.
That will be giving a few people at the club some food for thought and on current form, he perhaps deserves an extension.
He has been brilliant at the heart of a three-man defence and is busy proving his critics wrong.
2) Ryan Yates (45)
The academy man is another who is busy proving his doubters wrong, with some stunning form since Cooper arrived.
The 23-year-old is growing as a player under the Forest head coach and is really playing exceptionally well at the moment.
He is clearly showcasing some strong aerial prowess and that is a useful attribute for a central midfielder.
Yates has started every game during 2021/22 and on current form, he is pretty much undroppable.
1) Scott McKenna (64)
The Scotland international is an absolute colossus in the Forest backline and rarely lets his team down.

The 25-year-old is arguably one of the best pieces of transfer business the club has done in recent memory.
He checked in from Aberdeen and many Scottish football experts doubted whether or not he could do the business in England.
McKenna has also played every game but he is head and shoulders over his teammates when it comes to winning aerial challenges.
