Nottingham Forest could add talented Tottenham youngster Jamie Bowden to their ranks during the summer transfer window.
According to Football Insider, Bowden has impressed Andy Reid and the Reds under-23 boss is aware of his ability.
The 20-year-old is on loan at Oldham for the 2021/22 campaign. So far, he has played 16 games for the League Two outfit, scoring once and claiming three assists.
Spurs are hopeful of extending his contract beyond 2023 when he returns from his loan with Oldham.

After that point, Tottenham would almost certainly loan him out again and Reid is thought to be a big fan.

John Wenham is something of a club insider who runs the Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
He told Football Insider: “I think he has a contract until 2023 so I would expect we would offer him a new deal before he went anywhere.
“A Championship move could be really beneficial for him, he’s a really good player.
“I know from speaking to Andy Reid, that he is very aware of him. He had a role with the Ireland setup when Jamie was involved in under-18 games.”
Forest have a head coach in Steve Cooper who is a master at nurturing young talent and that could tempt Bowden into a move to Forest next summer.
Exciting: Bowden could be an intriguing Forest capture
Bowden has been a regular for both the under-18 and under-23 ranks at Tottenham and is a highly-rated member of the academy.
He is now learning his trade further by playing regular men’s football with Oldham in League Two.
One pleasing aspect of this is that Forest appear to be doing meticulous preparation ahead of the future transfer windows.

During the summer just gone, Forest seemed to rush their business somewhat and that had mixed results.
Bowden would bolster the midfield ranks and if he does sign at the City Ground he might prove to be a useful addition.
