Nottingham Forest battered Swansea on their travels yesterday, running out 4-1 winners at the Swansea.com Stadium. After the game, Brice Samba earned some praise from Reds starlet Loic Mbe Soh on Instagram.
The stopper has been known to divide opinion since arriving at the City Ground in 2019. Since Steve Cooper arrived, however, the talk has stopped about whether or not he’s capable of keeping goal for Forest.
The 27-year-old has grown and is showcasing some real confidence. He looks back to his best and was once again in fine form to make several smart stops against Swansea yesterday.

Samba checked in from Caen ahead of the 2019/20 campaign. He has now made 109 appearances for the Reds and has played all but one of Forest’s games in the Championship this season.
During that time he has kept 35 clean sheets and he will be striving for more as the current season progresses.
Forest are now in a position where they will fancy a late push towards the dizzy heights of the top six. In order to reach such a goal, the Reds will need a solid goalkeeper and Samba will hope to be that man.
What has Mbe Soh said about Forest star Samba?
The centre-back has endured rotten luck with injuries during his time at the City Ground.
He has made just two appearances this season and hasn’t been seen since Chris Hughton’s last game in charge against Middlesbrough.

After yesterday’s game, he summed up the performance of Forest star Samba in just one word.
Clearly, he was impressed with the uncompromising goalkeeper and was keen to hand him some praise aft the game.
Mbe Soh will hope to join his teammate on the pitch during the busy Christmas period; with the Frenchman’s rehabilitation program currently going well.
