Nottingham Forest want to sign Aston Villa striker Keinan Davis when the January transfer window opens next month.
According to The Telegraph, the Villa academy graduate is on Forest’s radar as they line up a striker.
Davis is down the pecking order at Villa Park and new boss Steven Gerrard could let him leave the club on loan.
Forest have been linked with the 23-year-old previously and now Steve Cooper could turn his attentions to the striker.

Davis has made just one Premier League appearance this season and is at the stage where he’s craving regular football.
Since coming through the ranks at Villa, he has made 86 appearances, scoring six goals and registering seven assists.
Davis is yet to embark on a loan spell away from Villa Park and that looks like the next stage of his development.
Forest won’t be alone in their pursuit of the youngster. Several Championship clubs will compete for his signature with the Reds in the mix.
During Villa’s stint in the Championship, Davis earned praise from Jack Grealish. After a game with Sheffield United, he called the youngster ‘absolutely unplayable’ for his brilliance.
Talented: Davis could be useful addition to Forest ranks
It’s fair to say that the Villa man hasn’t yet proved that he’s capable of scoring goals on a regular basis.
His goalscoring record is hardly impressive but his all-around game is perhaps what has drawn Forest to his services.

- WANTED MAN: Forest have wanted Villa man previously
Davis holds the ball up brilliantly and he could offer something different to Lewis Grabban and Lyle Taylor.
At 23, the Villa man will know that he needs to get some regular game time under his belt if he’s to earn a proper chance at the club he’s spent his whole career at.
Forest would welcome a younger striker into their ranks and perhaps Davis could do a job at the City Ground.
