Nottingham Forest fans have raved about Keane Lewis-Potter following his goalscoring display against the Reds yesterday at the City Ground.

The youngster fired home his sixth goal of the campaign in the first half to give the Tigers an undeserved half-time lead.

Lewis-Potter did end up on the losing side. Goals from Lewis Grabban and Brennan Johnson ensured that the Reds claimed an important three points.

It was the 20-year-old who really shone though and now Forest fans are hoping to see him signed by the Reds.

Lewis-Potter is a product of the Hull youth academy and he’s closing in on 100 appearances for the first-team at the KCOM Stadium.

He has scored 23 goals and claimed 12 assists during 98 appearances and is attracting Premier League interest.

City rejected an £8 million bid from Brentford in the summer and his form this season dictates that he could now be worth even more.

Lewis-Potter has been a big part of Hull’s resurgence up the Championship table in the last few weeks, with yesterday their first defeat for six matches.

The versatile winger is out of contract in 2023, although Hull hold the option to extend that by another year.

What have Forest fans said about Lewis-Potter?

Forest fans would love to see the Hull man added to the ranks and think he could be perfect if the club decides to sell Johnson in January.

It does seem a long shot though. Hull have already rejected big money for the winger and are perhaps unlikely to do business with a Championship outfit.

Still, Forest fans are aiming high and they see the youngster as the perfect replacement for Johnson should he leave in the future.

Here is what the Reds fan base had to say on Twitter after Lewis-Potter shone on Trentside yesterday.
