He scored his first goal for the Magpies on Sunday as they thrashed Wrexham 3-1 at Meadow Lane.
With the situation surrounding Djed Spence previously unclear, some fans were hopeful that the 22-year-old might be recalled.
Youngster Fin Back struggled against Middlesbrough, with many fans believing Richardson is further down the line.
The versatile full-back took his goal really well for the Magpies at the weekend and it gave Notts an important victory.
