Nottingham Forest have dumped Arsenal out of the FA Cup – and defender Steve Cook absolutely loved being a part of the win.

Few would have really given Forest a chance of beating Arsenal, especially given how impressive the Gunners have been of late.

Steve Cooper’s men pulled it out of the bag though, securing a 1-0 win thanks to Lewis Grabban’s goal.

Ryan Yates put in an outstanding cross, allowing Lewis Grabban to score from close range.

With Eddie Nketiah wasteful in the Arsenal attack, Forest are through to the fourth round – and now face a tasty derby against Leicester City.

This was a perfect night for Forest, especially with new signings Keinan Davis and Steve Cook both given starts.

Defender Cook will be delighted to start with a clean sheet, and he had great words for the Forest fanbase.

Cook told VAVEL’s Ethan Lamb after the game that he loved playing at the City Ground – even claiming the Forest fans made him emotional because of the size of the club.

That’s exactly what Forest fans want to hear out of their new signing, with Cook immediately loving life in Nottingham.

Nights like these really make you think Forest are back, and the hope will be that Cooper and co can take this momentum into the play-off race.
