Nottingham Forest knocked Arsenal out of the FA Cup last night – and after the game, Manchester United supporters lauded the performance of James Garner.

The Reds were tremendous at the City Ground. Lewis Grabban scored the only goal of the game with just seven minutes left on the clock.

Garner signed for Forest back in August. He spent the second half of last season on loan at the City Ground and was integral as Forest survived relegation.

The 20-year-old has grown at Forest this season. He has thrived under Steve Cooper and is now showcasing the unreal talent he possesses.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

Garner came of age last night. He was a constant threat to the Arsenal midfield with his array of passing, whilst his defensive work was admirable too.

During 2021/22, Garner has grown with each appearance. After a slow start to his second spell, he has really started to shine since Cooper arrived.

He has made 22 appearances this season, scoring once and registering one assist. During the second half of the campaign, he will hope to improve on those stats.

Recently Everton have been linked with a move for Garner. After dominating the engine room against Arsenal, Premier League interest is certain to intensify.

What have Manchester United fans said about Forest loan star Garner?

It’s fair to say that United fans can’t grasp why the youngster is out on loan. Plenty feel he’s better than the likes of Fred and Scott McTominay who play regularly at Old Trafford.
