Nottingham Forest tried to sign Zian Flemming in the summer and now he’s a target for Millwall. According to VI, the Lions could make another move to sign the attacker before the end of the month.

The Reds tried to add the Dutch attacker to their ranks during the summer transfer window. Ultimately, they fell short of the player’s valuation and he stayed with Fortuna Sittard.

Flemming has been in decent form during 2021/22. He has scored two goals and claimed three assists from 13 appearances.

Millwall have seen their first bid for Flemming rejected. Forest suffered the same fate in the summer and the Lions have bid around £1 million to secure his services.

Fortuna are in no rush to sell their player. Flemming has a contract with the Eredivisie outfit until 2024 and view him as one of their star players.

Flemming was identified as one of Dane Murphy’s first Forest signings. He fits the profile of a player that the American would fancy, given his age and potential sell on value.

The 23-year-old is likely to be on the radar of Forest still. Interestingly, the want Jed Wallace from Millwall and Flemming could be viewed by them as a replacement for the attacker.

Talent: Forest should return for Flemming

With Philip Zinckernagel only on loan and Brennan Johnson subject of Premier League interest, the Reds could be in the market for a new attacker.

Flemming would represent a great investment for the future. He fits the profile of a player the club are trying to attract and he has serious potential.

The Dutchman has plenty of experience in a competitive Dutch league. Forest would welcome someone to come in and add some flair to their attack and Flemming could do that.

Millwall might be in the market for the player. Forest would represent a massive upgrade on the Lions though and Flemming would surely jump at a City Ground move.
