Nottingham Forest have got themselves a good player in Keinan Davis, according to Gabriel Agbonlahor who has raved about the Aston Villa man on TalkSPORT.
Forest signed Davis earlier this month. He made his debut on Sunday as the Reds dumped Arsenal out of the FA Cup after a 1-0 win.
It was an eye-catching debut from the 23-year-old. Some supporters had criticised his lack of goals when he arrived but there are no doubts about what he will bring to the team.
Davis gave Rob Holding and Ben White a torrid time with his strength. His hold up play was superb and the Villa man will provide a different option to Lewis Grabban and Lyle Taylor.
Agbonlahor played five games alongside Davis for Villa. He’s been raving about him and suggested that Forest have got themselves a good player.
He told TalkSPORT (12/01; 09:46): “He’s a good player is Keinan Davis. Forest fans will love him. He’s got everything. He’s one of the strongest players I’ve ever played with, to be honest.”
Davis will spend the rest of the season at Forest. He will provide competition for a place in attack and will hope to earn a chance at Villa next season.
So far so good for Davis at Forest
Of course, it’s early days. One game doesn’t really make him an instant hero but it was an impressive debut from a man who hasn’t played much football.
The 23-year-old was a powerful presence as he was handed a start ahead of Grabban – who he played with at Aston Villa.

Davis will provide Cooper with a different option. He looks like a real battering ram of a striker but also showcased some neat touches with the ball as well.
Agbonlahor has heaped praise on Davis and Forest might have got themselves a cracker.
