Gary Brazil has heaped from on the Nottingham Forest under-23 outfit for their comprehensive 7-0 win over Reading last night.

The Director of Professional Development was in attendance at the Nigel Doughty Training Ground to oversee a huge win.

Will Swan scored a stunning hat-trick, with Ateef Konate, Aaron Donnelly, Julian Larsson and Oliver Hammond also on the score-sheet.

Brazil has worked wonders with the academy for almost 10 years with the football club and he really is a master of his trade.

My Europa League Predictions.

Forest would be in a far worse place as a club without the work he’s done over the last decade when it comes to nurturing young players.

The Reds have raised a fortune from selling their academy players. The likes of Matty Cash, Patrick Bamford and Jamaal Lascelles are all currently playing in the Premier League after leaving Forest.

Brazil has done almost miraculous work at the football club. He was rightly rewarded for his efforts with a promotion into his current role at the end of last season.

The man behind the scenes is humble. He will always maintain that lots of staff and coaches make things tick at the academy but Brazil is the driving force.

What did Brazil say about the emphatic Under-23 win for Forest

It’s clear that the Forest director was mightily impressed by what he saw at the training ground last night.

The Reds swept Reading aside with a devastating display of finishing. Swan’s hat-trick caught the eye but it was a tremendous team performance all around.

Reid is doing some great work with the Forest young guns. He has got them playing an attractive brand of football and they’re now in contention for a play-off place.

The work Brazil has done is unrivalled at Forest and long may his time at the City Ground continue.
