Nottingham Forest duo Brennan Johnson and Djed Spence are both attracting vast interest from the Premier League.
The dynamic duo have struck up a sensational partnership down the right-hand side and now BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson has praised them.
Forest face Huddersfield in the FA Cup on Monday and the ex-Liverpool centre-back fancies the Reds to get the win.
Steve Cooper won’t have his focus on the Terriers just yet, with a trip to Sheffield United to come first in the league.
Both Johnson and Spence have been nothing short of sensational during 2021/22.
Academy graduate Johnson has scored 11 times and claimed six assists with Spence proving a decent companion on the right.
The man on loan from Middlesbrough has a couple of assists and a couple of goals to his name and is attracting interest from all over Europe.
Lawrenson namechecked the duo during his latest round of predictions on the BBC Sport website.
He said: “I’ve been very impressed with Forest since Steve Cooper took charge, and they’ve got a couple of players in Djed Spence and Brennan Johnson who can definitely play at a higher level.”
Forest duo Johnson and Spence are destined for stardom
With or without Forest, both Johnson and Spence will play in the Premier League or a top European league.
The duo have been utterly sensational and clearly, they’re integral to any promotion hopes Forest have this season.
Cooper does have work to do in order to gatecrash the play-offs with the Reds sitting ninth in the division, three points off the top-six.
With Spence and Johnson in full flight, there is every chance that Forest could make the play-offs this season.
The FA Cup will provide a welcome distraction but it’s a game that Cooper will want to win.
