Nottingham Forest face Sheffield United tonight looking to continue their assault on the Championship play-offs.

The Reds know that a win will take them back into the top-six, although only until Saturday’s games have taken place.

Steve Cooper saw his men beat Bristol City 2-0 last week and he will be hoping for another efficient performance tonight.

Ahead of tonight’s game, we looked at how Cooper might line his team up at Bramall Lane.

The Forest rearguard

Ethan Horvath has kept two clean sheets whilst Brice Samba has been suspended and he will play again tonight.

There won’t be any need for change at the back either really.

Joe Worrall, Steve Cook and Scott McKenna have all been brilliant and should all start.

The Forest engine room and wing-backs

Max Lowe is ineligible to face his parent club so Jack Colback seems likely to revert to left wing-back.

Djed Spence will operate on the right and he’s been linked with Bayern Munich this week.

With Lowe out and Colback being moved, Ryan Yates looks likely to come in and partner James Garner in midfield.

Leading the Forest line

Lewis Grabban remains sidelined so Keinan Davis looks likely to continue in attack.

Behind him, there seems little reason to change things.

Brennan Johnson is on a rich vein of form just not and he will start alongside Philip Zinckernagel in the space behind Davis.

Alex Mighten, Joe Lolley and Sam Surridge will all be on the bench.

Here is how the Forest team could look tonight:
