Burton Albion completed a shock signing of former Nottingham Forest midfielder Adlene Guedioura last month.
The player was without a club after being released by Sheffield United in January following the sacking of Slavisa Jokanovic.
The former Blades boss had signed Guedioura having worked with him at Al-Gharafa SC.
Guedioura now finds himself at Burton and he’s busy making quite the impression.

During a midweek 5-2 defeat at the hands of Sheffield Wednesday, he scored a trademark long-range effort.
Yesterday, he was back in the goals once again, scoring a consolation goal as the Brewers were beaten 4-1 at Oxford United.
Guedioura hasn’t changed one bit. He still looks up and thinks about shooting when he’s 40 yards away from the goal.
Whilst it doesn’t always come off, he does compile quite a portfolio of goal of the season contenders.
Guedioura made exactly 100 appearances for Forest spread across a couple of spells with the Reds.
He scored six goals and registered six assists during his time on Trentside and was largely viewed as a fan favourite.
It’s perhaps a surprise he’s rocked up at Burton and he will be hoping to help the club start climbing the third tier once more.
Forest fans won’t be shocked at Guedioura form
The Reds fan base really took to Guedioura during his time at the City Ground, largely for his ability to score fantastic goals.

His first departure to Crystal Palace wasn’t met particularly well. The club did welcome him back when Aitor Karanka took charge in 2018, however.
Guedioura is still carving a career out for himself in England and after his failed United spell that’s perhaps a surprise.
The ship has sailed for Guedioura at Forest. The 36-year-old will be fondly remembered for some of his net-ripping goals and he’s still blasting them in at his new club.
