Nottingham Forest will be promoted at the end of the 2021/22 campaign according to former defender Wes Morgan who was talking to BBC Radio Nottingham.
The ex-centre-back was the club’s guest of honour prior to a 4-0 drubbing of Reading on Trentside.
Keinan Davis scored after just 17 seconds of the contest and added another after half-time. Ryan Yates and Sam Surridge also scored to cap a fine afternoon.

Forest are on fire. The Reds have lost just four of Steve Cooper’s 30 matches in charge and they now sit just two points outside the play-off places in ninth.
Morgan proved a real cult hero at the City Ground. He came through the ranks and went on to make 402 appearances for the football club.
Some supporters didn’t like seeing him go to Leicester City but it really was a case of needs must in a financial sense at that particular time.
Morgan has told BBC Radio Nottingham that he can’t see any situation that doesn’t result in the Reds winning promotion this season.
He said prior to yesterday’s game: “I think the turnaround from the start of the season to where they are now is night and day. I can’t see anything else but them going up.”
Morgan has a point, Forest look the real deal
Forest still have work to do and a large number of their remaining games come against teams who still have plenty to play for.
The Reds have to just keep ticking the game off and winning as many games of football as they possibly can.

Forest will fancy their chances of slotting into the top six between now and the end of the season.
Cooper’s men are scoring goals, playing good football and crucially they have a defence to be proud of.
Morgan might have upset a lot of supporters by joining Leicester but this prediction should certainly excite the fan base.
