Nottingham Forest defender Djed Spence will be worth £20 million when the summer transfer window opens, according to the Daily Express.
Middlesbrough will seek a club-record transfer fee for the right-back who was remarkably dumped by Neil Warnock last summer.
Spence has been a revelation for Forest during 2021/22. He’s made 33 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and claiming five assists.
Now, he’s got an army of suitors queuing up to sign him in the summer; with Arsenal, Tottenham and Bayern Munich all keen to recruit him.

Spence has helped Forest into play-off contention and his heroics also saw the Reds reach the quarter-final of the FA Cup.
Liverpool ended Forest’s run in the competition and they’re also thought to be keen on signing the 21-year-old too.
This week, Spence has earned himself a call-up to Lee Carsley’s England under-21 squad and that highlights how strong his form has been.
His next chapter looks set to be an exciting one and a departure from Middlesbrough seems pretty much nailed on.
Spence is at a good age to improve and Forest will sorely miss him at the City Ground next season.
Forest must sign Spence replacement
It’s perhaps surprising that Richie Laryea hasn’t been called upon yet in some way, shape or form. He was signed in January but is yet to make a first-team appearance.
Some may point to his signing as a possible alternative for Spence and next season that could be an option.

He may not be a big enough name though. As a result, Steve Cooper could look to enter the transfer market to find another Spence.
The Boro man will live long in the memory of Forest supporters and he will be integral to the club’s promotion chances this season.
Spence thoroughly deserves a huge move in the summer and he’ll go with Forest’s best wishes.
