Nottingham Forest v Coventry: What’s the story?
A lot has changed since these two sides met on the opening day of the 2021/22 campaign.
From a Forest perspective that seems like a lifetime ago. Chris Hughton has departed and Steve Cooper has taken the team from rock-bottom to play-off contenders in just eight months.
Only Fulham have won more points than Forest since Cooper came in on game week number nine. That is a superb testament to the players and the work done on the training ground.

Forest will go into the top-six with three points this evening and that makes the incentive crystal clear.
Furthermore, the Reds have another home game on the horizon on Saturday when Birmingham City make the short journey to Nottingham.
Forest have matchwinners all over the pitch right now and they’ll be confident ahead of tonight.
The Reds should have beat Coventry on the opening day of the campaign. They led for a large amount of the game but two goals in the last five minutes saw the Sky Blues claim an unlikely win.
For Coventry, they’ve dropped out of contention a little bit of late.
All is not lost though and a win tonight against Forest would propel them back into play-off contention.
Broadcast details
Tonight’s game will be shown live on the red button via Sky Sports.
As ever, BBC Radio Nottingham will provide full match commentary on the usual frequencies. Colin Fray will be the man in position on Trentside.
