Nottingham Forest owned Lyle Taylor has questioned the penalty-taking technique of Chelsea star Jorginho.
Shortly after the Italy international had missed from the spot against West Ham, the Birmingham loanee took to Instagram.
Taylor himself tucked away another penalty for the Blues on Saturday as they drew 2-2 with Millwall.
It proved heartache for Birmingham, with the Lions scoring a penalty, following a Taylor foul, in the eighth minute of stoppage time.
Still, the 31-year-old has now scored six goals on loan at St Andrew’s and they’d dearly love to sign him in the summer.
It’s been a frustrating time of things for Taylor at Forest. The striker has often been used as a backup option to Lewis Grabban and that has seen him struggle for consistency.
In 61 outings for the Reds, he’s found the net just eight times. His two most memorable goals came earlier this season when he netted twice in injury time against Bristol City.
Taylor is under contract for another season at the City Ground. With that in mind, it remains to be seen what the future holds for the striker come the summer.
What has Forest striker Taylor said about Jorginho?
The Chelsea star took a feeble penalty against West Ham. It was so tame that Lukasz Fabianski practically fell on it to make the save.
It’s not the first time that Jorginho has been made to look foolish given his unorthodox technique and Taylor doesn’t get it.
The Forest man is known to have an interesting run-up when he takes penalties himself. He merely strolls up to the ball before picking his spot – and usually despatching with ease!
Taylor took to Instagram and he believes that his way of striking the ball makes the job a whole lot easier for the goalkeeper.
