Nottingham Forest attacker Philip Zinckernagel has called one aspect of yesterday’s 5-1 win over Swansea City absolutely incredible on Instagram.

The Reds put Steve Cooper’s former team to the sword with a devastating display of second-half finishing.

Sam Surridge scored a hat-trick against the Swans, with Jack Colback and Alex Mighten also getting themselves on the score sheet.

The result means that Forest head to Bournemouth on Tuesday knowing that a win would see them take one giant step toward the Premier League.

Forest were brilliant in the second half against Swansea. Zinckernagel was in typically fine form and contributed to the free-flowing performance.

The 27-year-old has proved a useful loan signing for the Reds. He checked in from Watford back in August and has made his mark almost instantly.

The Danish star has scored seven goals; his most recent coming in the 1-0 win over Fulham and also registered 10 assists for the Reds.

Zinckernagel does drift in and out of form. He’s had some bad moments in a Forest shirt, although they have been outweighed by his 17 goal contributions.

What did Zinckernagel love about Forest win over Swansea?

After yesterday’s unbelievable display of finishing, Zinckernagel has taken to Instagram to heap praise on the Forest supporters.

Another sell-out crowd proved just the tonic for the Forest players who were feeding off the unreal noise.

The Reds have sold out throughout the season and will once again be backed by sell-out crowds at Bournemouth and at Hull.

Zinckernagel was keen to pay testament to the Forest fan base and he had a two-word appraisal for the supporters.

The Dane looks like a player for the big occasion and he will hope to get in on the goalscoring act in the final two games of the season.
