Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper has named his team to play Bournemouth in this evening’s huge Championship encounter, as per the club’s official Twitter account.

The full match squad is as follows:

Nottingham Forest starting XI: Samba; Worrall, Cook, McKenna; Spence, Yates, Garner, Colback; Johnson, Zinckernagel; Surridge.

Nottingham Forest substitutes: Horvath, Figueiredo, Laryea, Cafu, Lolley, Mighten, Silva.

Bournemouth v Nottingham Forest: What’s the story?

The stakes really couldn’t be any higher and the incentive is clear. If Forest can leave the south coast with three points tonight they will start the final day of the season in second place.

If Steve Cooper’s team are beaten tonight then the hosts will be promoted and Forest will have to settle for the play-offs. A draw would see Bournemouth in the driving seat on the final day still.

Forest are on a stunning run, winning nine of their last 10 games in the Championship with the only blemish a defeat against Luton on Good Friday.

Bournemouth do have a star-studded side to choose from but Forest have some of the division’s top-performing players in their ranks.

Forest typically have a go in every game they have played of late and that won’t be any different tonight.

The challenge is to stick to the game plan and make the Bournemouth faithful restless in their own backyard.

Parker has made some strange claims of late and hopefully, Forest can ram his words back down his throat this evening.

Broadcast details

Tonight’s game will be shown live on Sky Sports with a rather unusual kick-off time of 7pm.

The coverage will start at 6pm and BBC Radio Nottingham will also be offering live commentary of the game on the usual frequencies.
