Forest star Keinan Davis has been missing for three weeks for Forest after picking up an injury on Good Friday against Luton. The Reds talisman has now received praise on Instagram from Tammy Abraham, Brennan Johnson and James Garner.

The 24-year-old was an inspired January addition. He has quickly warmed himself to the Forest fan base and his physical presence has been sorely missed in the Reds attack.

Davis looks set to miss both play-off games, although that isn’t confirmed by manager Steve Cooper. If Forest could get him fit and firing for the double-header against Sheffield United it would be a massive boost.

Davis has scored five goals and claimed three assists from his 19 appearances. It’s fair to say that his game is about far more than just goals, however.

The youngster has been a constant threat when called upon by Forest. His absence hasn’t seen the team’s form drop off fortunately but having him fit would be a welcome boost.

Forest would love to sign Davis on a permanent basis but there will be some stuff to sort before that can become a reality. Ultimately there will be vast interest from elsewhere and Forest might need to dig deep.

What have the Forest duo and Abraham said about Davis?

Roma striker Abraham has been ripping Serie A up with Roma this season and they have a Europa Conference League Final to look forward to this month.

He spent a year on loan with Aston Villa earlier in his career. He would have played alongside Davis and witnessed his quality in training every day.

Garner and Johnson have witnessed Davis in full flight this season. Both players have seemingly relished working with the player during the second half of 2021/22 and they’ll hope he’s fit soon.

Several players have been reacting to Davis’ post on Instagram. He’s posted a video that features all of his best bits since arriving at Forest and it’s seen him receive lots of praise.
