Nottingham Forest take on Sheffield United in the play-offs on Saturday and the Blades not having Billy Sharp will naturally delight the Reds.

Sharp spent a season at the City Ground earlier in his career. He scored 11 goals in 40 appearances for the Reds and was a popular figure among the fan base.
The 36-year-old has been doing bits for his boyhood club for several years now and frankly, the talisman simply loves to score against Forest!
He netted in the 1-1 draw at Bramall Lane back in March and claimed an assist for Morgan Gibbs-White in the 1-1 draw at the City Ground in November.
Sharp has a brilliant record against Forest throughout his career. Transfermarkt shows that he’s scored seven goals in 16 appearances against the Reds.
He’s only scored more during his career against Coventry, Derby. Bristol City and Blackpool.
Sharp’s absence is merely one name that Forest won’t need to worry about this weekend; although Heckingbottom still has plenty of quality in reserve.
Sharp injury is a sizeable positive for Forest
Although he’s 36, Sharp has been in formidable form this season and he simply loves playing in the Championship.
He has scored 15 goals during 2021/22; whilst he’s also claimed seven assists for the Blades in their quest to reach the play-offs.
Now United have secured qualification they will fancy reaching the Wembley final and securing an instant return to the Premier League.
Sharp would view it as a dream to lead his team out in the final at the end of this month.
Forest will be hoping he’s on the beach by then and will be buoyed to see him unavailable for the two games against the Reds.
