Nottingham Forest face Sheffield United in the first leg of their play-off semi-final at Bramall Lane this afternoon.

The Reds drew 1-1 with Hull last week and that ensured that it was the Blades and not Luton that Forest will play.

Steve Cooper rang the changes at the MKM Stadium and several key players are likely to return to the team today.

Ahead of this afternoon’s game, we looked at how Forest might line up in South Yorkshire.

The Forest rearguard

Brice Samba will continue in goal and it’ll be his first outing at Bramall Lane this season after missing the league fixture through suspension.

At the back, there are likely to be two changes. Steve Cook will come in for Tobias Figueiredo; with Scott McKenna replacing Jonathan Panzo after a rest last week.

In the Forest engine room and wing-backs

Ryan Yates and Jack Colback didn’t even board the bus to Hull last week but both will return here.

Yates will partner James Garner in midfield and Colback will come back in for Joe Lolley who operated out of position against the Tigers.

Djed Spence played just 12 minutes last week and he will be handed a place back in the starting eleven today.

Leading the Forest line

Keinan Davis was a constant menace to Sheffield United in the league fixture back in March but he misses this one through injury.

Sam Surridge has filled the void nicely in his absence and he will lead the line again.

Elsewhere, Philip Zinckernagel will start alongside Brennan Johnson in the free roles behind Surridge.

Alex Mighten and Xande Silva will likely provide options from the bench for the Reds.

Here is how the Forest team could look today:
