Sheffield United v Nottingham Forest: What’s the story?
Forest couldn’t quite win automatic promotion having just fallen short against Bournemouth.
The playoffs were secured a while ago though and Cooper is looking to complete a quite extraordinary job.
Forest were struggling near the bottom of the Championship table when Cooper took over – now they’re potentially three games away from the Premier League.
With just two defeats in the last 17 league games of the season, Forest are a major threat in the playoffs.
Sheffield United are a major threat though. The Blades won their last three Championship games, conceding just one goal in the process.
They even hammered league champions Fulham 4-0 on the final day of the season.
Today’s first leg is at Bramall Lane before Forest take the tie back to the City Ground on Tuesday night – and both sides will be desperate for a positive start.
Today’s game will be shown live on Sky Sports with coverage starting at 2:45pm, just 15 minutes before kick off.
BBC Radio Nottingham will also be offering live commentary of the game on the usual frequencies.
