Hogan Ephraim has praised Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper, claiming he’d love to see the Reds back in the Premier League.

Ephraim is a player recruitment consultant these days but spent the majority of his career playing in the Championship.

Forest progressed to Wembley following a penalty shootout. Brice Samba saved three spot-kicks with the Reds going through to play Huddersfield.

It proved a rollercoaster of a night in terms of emotions. The Reds took the lead on the night through Brennan Johnson and it stayed that way until half-time.

Your Club's SURPRISE Star This Season

Morgan Gibbs-White scored just after half-time and when John Fleck scored with 15 minutes remaining, the momentum was firmly with the Blades.

Despite seeing Sheffield United come out as the losers, Ephraim has been very complimentary about Forest and in particular, Cooper.

The Reds didn’t play well at all on Trentside last night. Still, they did manage to get through and the game against Huddersfield looks set to be a cracker.

Ephraim has posted a nice message to the Reds fan base and revealed reasons why he’d love to see the club back in the Premier League.

Forest are now just 90 minutes away from the top-flight and hopefully, the Reds have one more amazing performance in their locker at Wembley.
