Nottingham Forest are confident of signing Djed Spence on loan again next season, even if he signs for a top Premier League club.
The Guardian are claiming that the Reds are confident of re-signing at least two of their loan players for next season.
Philip Zinckernagel, James Garner and Keinan Davis have joined Spence in proving very decent loan additions.
Spence has been a revelation for the Reds. He has made 45 appearances for Forest after being deemed surplus to requirements by Middlesbrough.
The 21-year-old has struck up a wonderful partnership with Brennan Johnson down the right-hand side.
Spence has scored three goals and claimed five assists during the 2021/22 campaign.

Now, he’s got several bigger clubs vying for his signature ahead of the summer transfer window.
Bayern Munich have watched Spence more than once; with Arsenal, Tottenham and Leeds all thought to be keen on signing the defender.
Forest will, of course, be keen.
Their hopes of signing him for around £15 million will hinge on whether or not the club win promotion to the Premier League.
Even then it might not be enough with other, more established clubs, looking to show their hand.
Forest want Spence back and supporters will be delighted
Spence was born a long way from Nottingham but he really does feel like one of the club’s own.
The Reds fans have warmed to him and that emotion has been reciprocated by Spence.
Even the player’s mum has been seen enjoying herself in Nottingham! She was on the pitch celebrating as a supporter after the Reds reached the play-off final.

Signing Spence again could be massive for the continuity of the Forest team and hopefully, the Reds can buy him.
That will of course depend on promotion.
If tomorrow goes according to plan, however, Steve Cooper’s first phone call should be to Steve Gibson at Middlesbrough.
