Gary Brazil was a proud man on Sunday and he’s praised Nottingham Forest duo Ryan Yates and Joe Worrall for their heroics this season.
The Reds beat Huddersfield Town 1-0 at Wembley to end 23 years of hurt without playing in the Premier League.
Yates and Worrall cut emotional figures at the end of Sunday’s game. Both players are Nottingham born and bred; with promotion meaning the world to them.
Brazil has been on every step of the journey with both homegrown players and he spoke like a proud father would speak about his offspring.

The Director of Professional Development is an important cog behind the scenes at Forest. He’s been at the club for over 10 years and the work he’s done with the academy is frankly ridiculous.
Forest have raised a fortune in transfer fees from selling their own academy stars.
Now, with the club in the Premier League, Forest will hope to keep their talented youngsters.
Worrall and Yates have both been magnificent this season.
Both players have captained the team on various occasions, with Worrall wearing the armband when the Reds lifted the trophy on Sunday.
The centre-back has been linked with a move to the Premier League for years.
Now, he’s made it with his boyhood club and there will be no reason for him to depart the City Ground this summer.
Brazil right to praise Yates and Worrall, they’ve both been outstanding
The duo are part of the Forest furniture now.
Both have worked tirelessly to prove themselves and now, their stock couldn’t be any higher.
Worrall and Yates will now embark on a Premier League journey and they can both take their careers to another level.

It will mean the world for both to walk out on the first day of next year with Premier League logos on each arm.
The challenge for Brazil is to continue his good work and unearth the next Yates and Worrall from the youth team ranks.
