Nottingham Forest are set to sign Connor Goldson and Joe Rothwell on free transfers, according to Football League World.
The Reds won’t spend a penny to add the two vastly experienced players to their ranks.
There really is no rest for the wicked.
Just two days after Forest defeated Huddersfield to end 23 years of hurt, it would seem that the recruitment team are getting busy.
The Reds won’t want to make the numbers up despite downing copious amounts of Peroni since Sunday evening, there is no time to celebrate.

Steve Cooper, Dane Murphy, Andy Scott, Chris Brass and George Syrianos will be very busy this summer.
MORE FOREST STORIES
That quintet are responsible for recruitment and Evangelos Marinakis is desperate for Forest to be competitive during 2022/23.
Both the new signings will bring something to the table.
Rothwell played 161 times during a four-year spell with Blackburn; with John Percy claiming earlier this month that Forest would offer a contract regardless of the division they’d play in.
Goldson is an interesting one on the basis that he plays at centre-back.
Forest are well-stocked at the heart of the defence. Steve Cook, Scott McKenna and Joe Worrall will all be contracted for next season.
Jonathan Panzo and Loic Mbe Soh are potential starts waiting in reserve. Signing Goldson will likely mean that Tobias Figueiredo doesn’t earn a contract extension.
Forest set to sign Rothwell and Goldson; both players could be useful
Although Forest will play fewer games next season, the intensity will increase.
With that in mind, having players who are experienced and know how to manage these situations will be useful.
Goldson has captained Rangers and been a mainstay in the team for the last four years, sampling big-game atmospheres in the process.

Rothwell is a combative performer and he will ensure Forest are well-stocked should James Garner prove unobtainable for a third loan spell.
There will be a couple of signings this summer that cost sums of money but it’s important to remain shrewd too.
Both Goldson and Rothwell look like decent signings on paper to start Forest’s recruitment drive.
