New Manchester City star Erling Haaland has explained what ex-Nottingham Forest defender Alexander Milosevic said to him during a recent international clash.

Norway took on Sweden last night, with the former Reds performer keen to get inside the head of the sensational striker.

Haaland scored twice as Norway ran out 2-1 winners against their Scandinavian rivals last night.

He is a true goal machine and next season Forest will come up against Haaland now they’re a Premier League outfit.

Milosevic was keen to try and put Haaland off of his game last night.

Following the game, Norwegian TV channel TV2 spoke to the striker and he revealed what the former Forest man said to him.

Haaland claimed: “He said that he was going to break my legs. A minute-and-a-half later I scored. That was fine.”

Milosevic made a return to the Sweden team following a strong campaign for AIK.

It was with the Swedish giants that he started his career and his latest spell at the club is going really well.

The 30-year-old proved a useful short-term signing for Forest and it came as a shock when he was allowed to leave.

He made 12 appearances for the Reds, scoring one goal for the club before leaving when Sabri Lamouchi took charge.

During the 2021/22 campaign, he made 10 appearances for AIK and helped himself to a couple of goals.

Milosevic decent for Forest but winding Haaland up wasn’t ideal

This was one of the defender’s silliest moments that he’s had for a while.

Haaland thrives on defenders trying to get inside his head and it simply makes him more determined to score goals.

The 21-year-old is a seriously good piece of business by City and he should thrive in the Premier League.

Haaland scored 29 goals last season for Borussia Dortmund and he’s also scored 18 goals in 10 appearances for Norway.

The sensation isn’t a player to be messed with and former Forest man Milosevic learned his lesson the hard way last night.
