Joe Rodon was linked with Nottingham Forest last week and now he’s got a World Cup to look forward to.
Last night he played 90 minutes for Wales as they defeated Ukraine to seal a place in Qatar later this year.
Rodon will line up for Rob Page’s team against England, Iran and the USA during the tournament.
It’s the first time since 1958 that Wales have reached the World Cup and it’s an exciting time for the country.

Rodon will want to make sure that he’s getting regular game time and that’s where Forest could come in.
Antonio Conte hasn’t favoured him since arriving in North London and playing next season will be paramount for the 24-year-old.
Enter Nottingham Forest.
Steve Cooper knows all about the young central defender and he was in charge of the Swans when the club sold him to Spurs for £11 million.
Now, he’d dearly love to sign the centre-back and last night he was in fine form for his country.
Wales Online produced a piece following the famous victory, rating all the players for their efforts.
Rodon received a 9/10 for his heroics and the piece claimed: “Read the game brilliantly to snuff out the danger with several superb interventions.
“Got his head into danger on a couple of occasions and put his body on the line alongside his defensive colleagues when Ukraine continued to press.
“Are you watching, Antonio?”
Rodon linked with Forest and he’d be a quality signing
The talented defender made just 10 appearances for Tottenham last season and that simply won’t do.
If he wants to feature regularly at the World Cup, Page will want his enforcer to be playing regularly during 2022/23.

That could open a door for Forest and he’d be a really useful addition to Cooper’s ranks.
Joe Worrall, Scott McKenna and Steve Cook should all get chances to shine next season.
Forest will want their squad to be well-stocked in all areas though and that could lead to another central defender coming in.
Rodon fits the Forest strategy down to the ground and Cooper could seal a real coup by signing the Tottenham man this summer.
