Nottingham Forest want Ainsley Maitland-Niles and have made contact to try and bring the Arsenal man to the City Ground.
Forest are being linked with a new player every day at the moment, which maybe isn’t a huge surprise.
Promotions means Forest are flush with cash and agents are touting their players around in the hope of a summer move.
A right wing back will be a vital signing given that loanee Djed Spence looks set to join Tottenham Hotspur instead of staying at Forest.
Issa Kabore has been linked as one option but there are now reports of interest in Arsenal’s Maitland-Niles.

The Daily Mail claim that Forest now made their first move for Maitland-Niles by asking about his availability.
Arsenal will surely be open to selling Maitland-Niles this summer having loaned him out to Roma in January.
Maitland-Niles helped Roma win the Europa Conference League but started just seven league games for the Italian side.
Jose Mourinho decided not to pursue a permanent deal for Maitland-Niles but he likely has no future at Arsenal.
The 24-year-old has almost 100 Premier League appearances under his belt as well as five England caps.
The problem is that Maitland-Niles hasn’t always loved playing as a wing back.
Maitland-Niles has seen himself as a midfielder, meaning he may need to be convinced if he is to take Spence’s spot.
There is though the possibility that Forest do see Maitland-Niles as a midfielder.
James Garner is heading back to Manchester United and Steve Cooper will be keen to bolster his engine room without him.
Maitland-Niles could end up being an option to play in midfield for Forest, with his versatility a mere bonus as Forest chase other wing back options like Kabore and Neco Williams.
